Speaker 0 Today, we're talking about how to manage your linkedin automation activities to Using 1 of the leading marketing, sales and crm tools Hubspot. So let's dive straight in jazz. It's over to you.
Speaker 1 Thank you, Joe for the introduction, and hello, good morning Good afternoon or good evening to everyone and who's joining today's latest Dux-Soup webinar. For anyone who's new to these, my name is Gil Gil Ga, I'm head of professional services here at Dux-Soup. And if you book any calls with Dux-Soup, you're likely to speak to myself are on the technical calls, the booster calls and also some of the support calls. So maybe I've spoken to you before If so hello, and maybe I'll speak to some of you in the future. Today, we're gonna talk about the...
Speaker 1 We're gonna revisit and review our our direct Hubspot integration. The hub integration that we're talking about today was first launched. Back in the middle of 20 21. And it's 1 of our most utilized integrations. Please be aware and this is something I will refer back to every now and then that the integration, all of our integrations are only available to Dux-Soup Turbo users.
Speaker 1 So just be aware of that as well. Mentioned and Joe's gonna do all the questions, so so keep those questions coming in under the questions but they don't go in the chat box rules seems to get that muddled up all I do. Anyway. And if you've got further questions, you can always email the email address that you see there, that's our support team and they will be able to answer any other questions that you have that aren't related to the somewhere. We're gonna do a quick duck soup introduction.
Speaker 1 We're gonna talk about the the the Hubspot integration. And, yeah, we'll see where we go from there. And we've got time for questions at the end as well, hopefully as always. So what is Absolute? Dot is a Chrome extension which when used in Conjunction with Linkedin can assist you with the following and, you know, the teachers...
Speaker 1 The the features I'm talking about today do require a turbo license. You can auto invite with personal personalized messages, you can search filter and target with Dux-Soup soup tags. You can also message first degree prospects, and you can download data the Dux-Soup gathers for you. The 3 of the bottom there sending automated follow messages or rolling into prod in in campaigns, follow stats tracking and integration drill systems, that's all part of Turbo. And yeah, this is a quite a good summary that we've we've come up with a pro allows you to send invitations, messaging, tagging and data download.
Speaker 1 Turbo gives you all the bells and whistles, The Api, the campaign stuff with the unlimited campaigns and team collaboration features. The dashboard for monitoring all of that, looking at your queued activity, connect with your Crm, Pipe drive Sharp spring and what we're talking about today, of course, spots. Further integrations by mate and Zap if you require. And if you want to make the most of your 14 day free Dux-Soup turbo trial, go to the the the Url that I've put on the page there. Or indeed the link that Hopefully Joe is putting into the chat at the moment.
Speaker 1 So you can then, you know, if you've not used Ugg suit before, go out there, get your free to 03:14 day trial and hopefully, we can then, yeah, meet your requirements. So that's stock soup functionality. Dux-Soup Sip Hubspot. We're gonna talk about today. We're gonna do the installation.
Speaker 1 We're gonna talk through the installation. Very straightforward. We're doing throughout the setup. Your different options there how to configure it, and then all of the other things that you can do with this. Now our first direct integration that we released was back in 20 20.
Speaker 1 That was with Pipe drive. Based upon the success of that, we were actually inundated with a request for a similar solution with Hubspot So 20 21, we were able to deliver that. So why Hubspot? Well, Hubspot got in excess of a hundred and 30000 paying users spread across more than a hundred and 20 countries. And it's been it's it's really well established and 1 of the market leaders in Crm space.
Speaker 1 It's been around for over 15 years now. So... In order to install, we go to our Ducks stash. We go to Crm connections and we add our account. I will be walking through all of this as part of the demo in a minute.
Speaker 1 And once you've done that, you can then... Once you've added your account, you then decide what data you want to go through. What what data you want to appear in Hubspot. So here you can see from these screenshots, You can enable or disable it, and then you can choose which profiles make it into your Crm. So at the moment you can see from this 1 here, I've got create update contacts from connected profiles.
Speaker 1 In other words, only first degree connect. Sections of mine will end up in Hubspot with this configuration. Now you can see from this drop down box here on the right, which is a sort of enlargement of what we can see there on left I can... I have various options here, which I can use to to to filter that. And the thing to remember as well is you can change this as you go.
Speaker 1 So do depending on what you're doing in Linkedin, what actions you're getting Dux-Soup to do, you can always change this, configure it, enable it, disable it, whatever you want, you have complete control over that. As well as that, you can also create timeline events for Linkedin messages. So the way that the Dux-Soup suit communicates and gets the data to line up between Linkedin and and the Hubspot, you can have your Linkedin messages appearing in your Hubspot account. This option here update contact after connecting, this is really important. If you're, for example, visiting second and third degree connections, and somebody becomes a first degree connection, you want to trigger this this 1 here.
Speaker 1 This is this enables Dux-Soup to auto visit that new first degree reconnect connection And as we all know, when you're connect to a first degree connection, you when you visit first degree connection, you see more contact information, see more profile data once you're connected to someone. You've got a chance that of seeing telephone numbers, email addresses. Other bits and pieces as well. So these are all the different configuration options that you've got within. So within the the the the Docs soup and the hubspot installation there.
Speaker 1 When you do the installation, when you first install hops spot. It's really important that you have the appropriate privileges is set up within your environment because Du will create some new data fields in the Crm. Well This is what allows Dux-Soup to do all of that talking backwards and forwards allows the the dates to be synchronized between Linkedin and Hubspot. As this pop as this gets populated over time, then that allows you to to trigger duck soup actions from within Hubspot. So you see here on the right hand side here, Once you've got, for example, the Urls populated correctly for the for the Linkedin profiles, you can then start to enroll people in campaigns or send them direct messages, or even send connection requests all from within Hubspot.
Speaker 1 So you have opens up that massive possibilities there as well, And there's some other data as well, which is the bit what I've talked about just now, say, hey, if you acquire them, you can also get your Linkedin message exchanges. Within Hubspot as well. So you tick that box which says create timeline events. And then we can see here the message I exchange with 1 of my colleagues earlier today They are. And I would even get the Url to the conversation in Linkedin as well.
Speaker 1 So so you've got all of those possibilities there. So it's kind of a 2 way thing Dux-Soup is gathering information from Linkedin and putting into in into into Hubspot. And then from Hubspot, you can trigger actions the other way. As well. Cool.
Speaker 1 We flow through the slides. Okay. Excellent because then we can get them with the demo, which is probably what will trigger more questions than anything. First of all, out always, this is me in case you've not seen me before on Linkedin in case you've not connected with me already sent me a connection request. Happy to interact with anybody who's a Dux-Soup user or has an interest in Dux-Soup.
Speaker 1 Of course, if you're gonna send me a connection request, I mentioned Dux-Soup in the connection request, because then I know how you found me. So that's always quite nice. So do feel do feel free to find me on Linkedin. Look me up, send me a connection connection request, very, very happy to do that. Right.
Speaker 1 So we've got Dux-Soup turbo, how do we know we got Dux-Soup Turbo? Because here in the top right, our Dux-Soup bike is turquoise. The color of the ducks cycle always determines what what what version you brought what the status is. Now I've got a turquoise 1 That means I've got turbo. If you've got pro, your ducks suit bike icon...
Speaker 1 Most of the time you read. So just be aware of that. So we've got Ducks suit turbo here. If that's great. And we're gonna click on our Dux-Soup bike on here at the top.
Speaker 1 And we're gonna go down to our Ducks stash. Here. And if anybody if any of you are familiar with with the the Duck stash. Hopefully, you're you're familiar with, nothing here is a surprise. We go down here on the left hand side and we see the Crm connections button.
Speaker 1 If we click on the Crm connections button, we can see here. We've got an add hubspot account. Now if I was to click on there. I think we will take me through to Hubspot and I can then link whatever activity I want, we'll link whatever accounts I want there Now I've already linked my Hubspot account here. And you can see here from our drop down menu as I showed on the slides just now I've got some different options, so I could turn it off.
Speaker 1 I not create any context while I'm viewing profiles. I could create an update contacts from tagged profiles. So if I'm tagging profiles, maybe I'm enrolling into our campaign and auto tagging them, then I could use that 1. Maybe I wanna have only people who've got tags and they've connected with me, so they're first degree prospects. Or maybe I wanna have...
Speaker 1 Every profile I ever visit Linkedin appear in my Crm. Everyone has their own way of working. It's not for me to tell you what to do. Personally, I only want. But For this example, because I have had other ones in the past, but for this example, I'm only wanting my connected profiles to appear in my Crm.
Speaker 1 Create timeline events for Linkedin messages. I want my messages to appear my in my Hubspot environment. I want Dux-Soup to updates contact if somebody becomes a new new a new first degree connection. I'm on my latest and greatest contacts in my Crm. And I also want docs to update the contact name from Linkedin because it will find then whatever whatever name...
Speaker 1 If a name changes or something like that, then it will update that information according. What we do see occasionally is, you know, if you've got a Crm if your hubspot full of data already, you will sometimes see some duplicates. Data, some duplicate records here, duplicate records arriving in your Hubspot environment. You just need to merge the data, It's kind of like a bit of a safety net. We don't wanna overwrite all your existing data data in in your Crm.
Speaker 1 So Dux-Soup will sometimes create a new contact. And you may need ie yeah, this person is actually that person I can now merge the data. And as long as you keep those those linkedin fields that Doc super is creating the dot soup feels that have being created in the integration. Then of course, all of the further further actions will work. So how does this now look in Hubspot.
Speaker 1 I'm go to to Hubspot a second. Here we go, there's there's Hubspot. Remember Dux-Soup creates contacts? Here I'm gonna go to mine my contacts here. There we go.
Speaker 1 And what we can see here is I've got a bunch of new contacts from today where I visited. So and we can see here. Now, I've I've added a few new columns or I've made their various columns visible for for the purpose of this demonstration here. So I can see for example, these these these these fields here that Dux-Soup creates in the installation. So Linkedin Id, that's that's 1 that is is very important.
Speaker 1 Or let's go back there. Didn't need to do that. So I've got the Linkedin Id, that's really important because that helps... Duck soup sort out the messages and make sure they land in the right place. We've got the Linkedin industry.
Speaker 1 That's data that comes through Linkedin. We've got the Linkedin Url, Linkedin profile there. We've got Email addresses, email address, if Dux-Soup can find it and match it up, and we've got phone numbers as well if if that's visible. There's various other bits and pieces of data as well. And if I go in here, then I open...
Speaker 1 Let's find that 1. Here we go. So we'll find... Oh, no I don't wanna do that. Just wanted to click on there.
Speaker 1 So here we go. So this is, again, 1 of my 1 of my colleagues here. We can see here that Dux-Soup has found. Yeah. I've got the Linkedin Id.
Speaker 1 I've got the Linkedin degree. That's the connection level with me in in Linkedin. I can see the the the industry they're in, the Url there. And I've also got the Dux-Soup tags visible here. So I've actually got a Doc suit tag that I've made sure is visible here as well.
Speaker 1 And this would be reflected if I went to this profile in Linkedin. And also, as I showed earlier, here's my message exchange with her from with with my my colleague from earlier today. Just a quick test message. I've also got the Url there, the link to the the conversation if I want to go to that conversation straight in in Linkedin. So how do we get profiles into our Crm?
Speaker 1 Well, the normal way, of course, would be that you would enroll prospects into a campaign I would imagine? And then just organically, people will apply will appear in your Crm. So for example, if I go go back here a second. Let's go on. Let me go.
Speaker 1 But if I go back here. Let's go back to the Docs stash. So if I was running, for example, a campaign, and I was sending out people I was getting people to connect with me via this campaign with the settings that I've got now, as people connect with me, they will appear in my Crm. But of course, you're probably, you know if you're starting out with this this. You're thinking...
Speaker 1 Well, I get all of my first degree contacts into my Crm, and that's completely understandable. In which case, what we need to do is we need to get Dux-Soup to go out and order visit those profiles. So let's do that a second. So I'm gonna do this in sales navigator just for convenience because it's easier to create a listing in sales navigator. So what I've got here for example, is I've got a filter already in place here with first degree connection.
Speaker 1 So I've got my list of first degree connections here already. And I'll tell you what we need to do. I don't think I've got the the settings all set up correctly. Let's just have a quick check here. So I'm not carrying out any automated actions here.
Speaker 1 I'm not skipping anything. Let's turn that 1 off. There we go. And I'm actually gonna run this slightly quicker than normal just so we get to see some data, and I just need to make sure that this is enabled. Otherwise, nothing is gonna happen when I click the visit profiles button because the robot is sn.
Speaker 1 There we go. There we go. I've got my list of first degree prospects here that I want to get into my into my Crm, So all I need to do here is I need to click on my Dux-Soup icon and hit visit profiles. Dux-Soup will now start at the top of this list following my rules. And it's going to auto visit each of these profiles in turn.
Speaker 1 And what we should see happen very shortly is each of these people. Starting to appear in my Crm. Now some of these people might already be in there, in which case, it'll just update the data that's that's coming out of Linkedin update that and put it into into Hubspot for me. But what we'll see in a second and it always takes longer while you're presenting and and demonstrating it always takes that little bit longer than you hope. So please talk amongst just couple while, It does this and now it shouldn't take too meant too many seconds.
Speaker 1 So here we. It's gonna pause for a few seconds and it's gonna start from the top of the list And hopefully, most of you are familiar with this. If you're already Docs sleep turbo users and you understand what's going on now. There we are. So it's taking the the the gentleman that's the top of this list, it's opening the profile.
Speaker 1 It's gonna visit him. It's gonna gather the data. And then in a second, it's gonna close it. And what we'll need to do is wait to a couple of seconds then for that data to start appearing in our Hubspot environment. Tell you, while that's doing that, we'll go into Hubspot a second and we'll just should remind you how you can trigger actions from in Hubspot.
Speaker 1 So again, let's find somebody in here. Let's let's go back to to my my colleague vlad page here. We'll just go into her... Profile here. What we can see here, for example, is because I've got everything populated out of Linkedin here.
Speaker 1 What we'll see here on the bottom right hand corner is under the linkedin section here, I've got the ability to enroll my my my my prospecting into a campaign. This would take any of my my docs suit campaigns, the ones that I've already defined here in my in my my list here that would send those. Or I could indeed send my prospect to direct message. So what I could do is, like say, hi, underscore f. Underscore, in the same way with all of our messaging within within doc super already.
Speaker 1 Just a message from the live webinar There we go. And if I do that, press okay. What we should see then is this message will get queued up and sent to my colleague. In due of course, there you are. A direct message has just been queued.
Speaker 1 Now we can actually go and see that. If we go in here and we go to our queued activity. There we are. There's my message, queued up. Ready to go as and when it as and when Dux-Soup is available.
Speaker 1 Won't do it at the moment because it's busy visiting people. If I turn... As and when I turn off this auto visiting, we'll actually see that message go. Accordingly. So there we are.
Speaker 1 We can actually see that being that being carried out there. If I try to send my colleague at connection Request, I'm already connected, so that would fail but would only be once Do who opens the profile. It say oh No you're connected. You can't send a connection request it would fail and move on. I could enroll the say into a campaign and then it would queue up whatever's in that campaign accordingly.
Speaker 1 So while we've been chatting, it Ducks been visiting some contact, so maybe a few more have appeared then in my in my Hubspot environment, there we go. Excellent. So I think that first 1 that we visited was was Brian. So we can see here that that that the these these people have started to appear. In my Crm They are 7 7 05:17.
Speaker 1 So these people have now started to appear with my Crm. And that means that, you know, their date now in there, if I have any message exchanges with them from now on In Linkedin, they're gonna appear in. Perfect. We have a seamless connection then because between the 2 platforms or we're that between the 3 platforms really we're using Dux-Soup as the intermediary. There are a few people I've spoken who who want more cup optimizations available with their Hubspot environment and their their integrations.
Speaker 1 And that's where I would advise using something like Zapier or making in order to to to gather other information, if that's what you require. But what we see is that for 95 percent of people, this integration works seamlessly, it works perfectly, and it fulfill the requirement. Docs will, of course, do its best to match up primary company information. You can see here it's pulling out the logos and some so forth. And it's doing its absolute best to make sure that all of the data that exists within in Hubspot already within the the overall Hubspot database.
Speaker 1 Is then being populated accordingly here. And if I just refresh this page again a second, we should maybe see another couple of prospects appearing that we are, we can see see some more prospects appearing in here. As I'm talking as it goes through auto visiting more more profiles. In fact, it's just sent my my follow up, I think my my message to my colleague as well. And we can probably check that.
Speaker 1 Will that have appeared yet may have already appeared. Let's have a look. No. There we go. No.
Speaker 1 1 of a p because it needs to do the message bridge check. But it'll do that in due course as well, probably within the next 10 minutes or so. So let's go back to our slide a second. That was the demo that I wanted to show you how to install it how to configure it how to understand all those settings. There probably will be questions around the settings.
Speaker 1 We'll give you time to to get those questions in. But what we've done is we've talked about how to install. We've talked about the configuration, the different settings with regards where you put. First degree contacts in there. It's third degree, non connected, tag, etcetera, etcetera.
Speaker 1 You understand the data and the triggers. You need to make sure that you have the right authority level when you first install it so that those new fields can be set up. And then you opens up the possibilities, of course, for the enrollment, the messaging, the connect connection request or to be triggered within Hubspot. This works with a free version of Hubspot. I only have a free hubspot account So be aware that the...
Speaker 1 It does work on all versions of Hubspot. Of course, if you've got premium level versions of of premium pay 4 hubs. Spot then, of course, that opens up more possibilities with your automations and your emails. But... Yeah, that's how it all works.
Speaker 1 That's how it all works. And I will now say to Joe, Hopefully, there are some questions and people are typing some questions into the box as we speak. But while you're doing that, and I'm gonna mention this for the first time now because it's gonna get mentioned again shortly. In 2 weeks time, we have a guest presenter, but please make sure you make a note of the time because it's an hour earlier than our normal time slots. Thanks to the location that he'll be presenting from.
Speaker 0 Perfect. Thank you very much. Right. I'm just doing a little bit of my usual copying. Pasting.
Speaker 0 So yes, we have some questions. Let's Get cracking. Pasting So do we use usual multitasking here. Right? Let's start at the top.
Speaker 0 Ken has asked I think this is a really good question actually. What if we already if we're already a Dux-Soup. If we already have a license that we want to trial turbo? So if he's already on Pro or has a free account, then how would we trial Turbo if we're already in existing
Speaker 1 So cracking question. Thank you, Ken. My advice would be to email the email address that you see there possible. And the support team will be delighted with me for that 1. No.
Speaker 1 And they can they can provide you with a trial key, a turbo trial key in order to test the functionality. And then, yeah, you you they they will happily provide you with some trial keys. So you've got the ability to test. Whether you're a free user or a pro user. And you're saying, yeah, I really like to see the possibilities here.
Speaker 1 Just ask them for a trial key, say that Gil sent you. No problems at all. And they will be able to fur you with a key and that will be able to give you the access to all of the functionality for a week or 2 and give it a proper test out.
Speaker 0 That's cool. Thank you. Ikea asked now this was during the demo. Is there any plan to take the first degree reconnect? At different stages of the funnel into Hubspot.
Speaker 0 So she said I. E. Qualified connections. Now, I must admit at this point, I was fielding in questions. So I didn't get to see at what point she asked here.
Speaker 1 Okay. There is a way to do this, and we're talking here advanced advanced. So if Clear can put her email address into the questions box for you. Joe, I'm happy to follow up via email as to how to do that because it involves a little bit of playing around and basically, This just very quickly show you. Yeah.
Speaker 1 Because it can be achieved, but it does involve... Yeah, sort of playing around a little bit because what you would do is... Oh, let's stop the know They've been visiting lots of proof profiles. I don't know. Basically, there are some system tags which...
Speaker 1 You don't normally have access to, but the system tags reflect what you've got in the funnel. So they reflect reflect all of these different stages. And you could, for example, make use of that and only get... Connected people with certain system tags against them appearing then in your in your Crm. So it can be done, with the system as it is at the moment.
Speaker 1 So, yeah. But okay. Quite happy to to message. I think you said it was clear. If you can forward through her email buy the chat and then we'll follow follow up with her directly.
Speaker 0 Fine. I've got it. And let me just paste it in before it gets lost. Thanks, Kia. That might that might
Speaker 1 actually be also something that... Maybe if we should look at as as you know, as we're doing sort of a super user blog type thing. Might be a quite a good 1 to to cover.
Speaker 0 Oh, go and start for you clearly. I ask a great question. That Has asked. How can I add my list from sales navigated to Dux-Soup? So we're kind of devi slightly, but still a useful to I think.
Speaker 1 No. I mean, basically, I mean, if you if you've got your prospect list in in in sales navigator whether you're here a search results or maybe it's a lead list, you just go to a lead list here. Depending on what you're doing depending on what your... Wait... Yeah.
Speaker 1 Depending on on on all sorts of different things. If for example, I wanted to make sure I don't know. I've got I've got a a list of a few people here If I wanted to put all of these people into my Crm and these are a mixture of first and secondary degree connections. If Wanted all of these people to be in my Crm. I can basically go into my Ducks dash and I can go into my Crm connection and I can say something.
Speaker 1 I'm gonna... In this case, I'm gonna have all profiles appearing in there because in this case, I'd like the All to go in there. And now I could say to Dux-Soup right, ducks by icon Green. Please now just go and visit these profiles. So These people will go into my Crm.
Speaker 1 Now it could be a case that actually part of that is you want to enroll these people into a into a campaign. And as you enroll them, they would then also end up in your in your Crm because during during that process of enrolling and send connection request. Whatever it is or send direct messages, whatever you're doing in your campaign, it could be that those people then will end up in your Crm. So depending on these settings here as well, of course. So, yeah, You can run Dux-Soup suit remember all of this auto visiting from a number of different places here we've got, for example, a lead list.
Speaker 1 We can do it from a search result as I did just now. We can also do it from from within regular Linkedin here. We can go do a search in regular Linkedin and do auto visiting. We could even go and say, yeah, There's a hundred and 70 people reacted. To this post here.
Speaker 1 Great. I'm gonna go and Also visit these people and put these people in my Crm. Maybe you wanna do that. Remember, there's all these different lists that we can run Dux-Soup against. To And, yeah, it's up to you.
Speaker 1 You can even, of course, build your own custom lists with the Csv file. We cover that in another in another webinar recently. So I won't go down that rabbit hole now.
Speaker 0 Good lengthy response there. Thanks job.
Speaker 1 Just giving you time to prepare the next question, Joe.
Speaker 0 Yeah. Yeah. You were. You did a good job. You know what?
Speaker 0 I think I've closed down. I know. I found it. Don't worry everyone. I found it.
Speaker 0 Lyle has asked, I've just installed Dux-Soup, but Hub hubspot won't show the direct linkedin in link to the contact. Do you have any advice?
Speaker 1 Sorry. Can you repeat that again?
Speaker 0 I've just installed Dux-Soup, but Hubspot won't show the direct linkedin link. For the contact.
Speaker 1 Okay. So as I said earlier, when you do the installation here, you need to make sure that... You have the administrative rights within Hubspot to allow those new fields to be connect... Created. Way to check that is going into into Hubspot and just go into...
Speaker 1 Yeah. Let me go. Yeah. View all properties, you can double check this, go into all properties. And if you type in here under all prop...
Speaker 1 Is okay Let's have a look at Linkedin. So we can see here these are all the the fields or these are some of the fields. So Linkedin degree. These are the new fields that the Dux-Soup creates. We can also type in ducks, and we can see the the the element the the other feels that Dux-Soup creates.
Speaker 1 If those aren't there, then then you need to change... You need to get the... Your administrative rights within Hubspot updated and that would be possibly the explanation we're looking go... Looking for for this instance. If that doesn't answer the question, reach out to our support team lyle, and we can have a look further as to what may or may not be happening there.
Speaker 1 Use the email address that you see here on the screen or Alternatively, you can go to our support pages a which are here. This 1 here and I'll stick this into the chat box in the second. And you can use the live chat option down here in the bottom right hand corner. So if you need to get ahold of the support team, you can go. There we are.
Speaker 1 I've got then in the chat box so that you can get there easily as well.
Speaker 0 Fabulous bless. Thank you very much. Next 1 is... From Diane. If I have Dux-Soup connected to Hubspot and all the linkedin in details and functions available for contacts are already Hang on.
Speaker 0 If I have Dux-Soup connected to Hubspot, are all the linkedin details and functions available for contacts already in Hubspot. But not linked 10 connections.
Speaker 1 Now you need to make sure that you you who only put people into into into Hubspot the people you visit. Be that during the course of a campaign or during an auto of visit activity or indeed a manual visits activity. If that's the way you're doing it. In order for the data come across, there that that that that action needs to happen whether that's the inviting or the acceptance or whatever it might be. Doesn't just automatically no, Oh yes, you've connected it and look at all of these contacts.
Speaker 1 Now. There's still these rubber is designed to mimic human behavior on the platform. So if that human behavior still needs to happen on Linkedin in order for those profiles to come across. But again, you wanna reach out to our support team, they can they can guide you through that. As well as that actually, this just pretty a good point to also mention.
Speaker 1 Here under the support pages, if you go in here and you... Let's a look. The... If I go in here when I type in Hubspot. To see here Hubspot Crm integration.
Speaker 1 This is all... Documented here quite clearly is an explanation as to how all of this works. Step by step how to make sure that all of the the properties are in there and everything like that. And there's even if we go in go in here and type Hubspot again. So here we are Hubspot, you don't have to Push to connect this out.
Speaker 1 Could be that for example, you don't have the right administrative action and also here how to install it. So it's all in here. It's all clearly documented under the support pages.
Speaker 0 Okay. I've just put into the chat box everybody as well. The the support email address, the Hubspot integration page address and also, I'll just put the free trial link across there as well. There we go. That's in there too.
Speaker 0 So if you need any those, then they're in the chat box. Cool Let's get back to the questions. Sub from there. Corey would like to know if you can add a linkedin activity in Hubspot sequence with this integration. I don't know
Speaker 1 the answer that because I don't have a premium. Account, but I know that the support team will be able to answer your question, Cory, Apologies.
Speaker 0 Okay. Great. Martina, Is it possible in Hubspot to track people's responses sent by Linkedin? Absolutely on the latest ones?
Speaker 1 Can you filter from the list? No It comes in as an activity What what what you could do is... Yeah. I guess, and I've not done it, but I guess what you can do here is you can... If in your contacts is you're getting as you're getting activities coming in because, of course, hear, we we we're we're creating timeline events for for linkedin messages there's probably a way of being able to filter this via events that come in and apologies maybe it's under conversations here.
Speaker 1 No I don't think you'll be under conversations. No. No. Because this isn't no, no. This is not what I want to be doing?
Speaker 0 So it might be something you can do on a premium account perhaps.
Speaker 1 So... Yeah. But I but I think you'll be able to go in here and and do your contact under your contacts and then sort by latest activity or timeline line events. Depending on your filtering options there. But...
Speaker 1 Yeah. Because because the messages is coming as as as I said earlier, there's timeline events. Let's go here. Yeah. And there's probably far more constant hubspot users out there than I am.
Speaker 1 So, yeah. When you get AAA timeline event coming in like this it's an activity. Then you would be able to broadly filter by the the time which this comes in.
Speaker 0 Okay. Thank you very much. So I'm now heading over to Fad who asked... I still haven't figured out how to stop campaigns from the Crm directly, can you explain it again, please?
Speaker 1 Yep. Sure. Once you've defined your campaign? Let's just go back to Should remind ourselves what the campaign looks like. So here we are in the Du.
Speaker 1 Dash. And Yeah. Yeah. If whichever campaign you've got here, it doesn't matter whichever whichever campaign you you you might want to use. Most of mine are off at the moment for for testing purposes.
Speaker 1 But, yeah, once once you've got your your campaigns defined here. As long as you've got this as long as this is populated here this linkedin profile field here. You can then trigger here the enrollments to a campaign. We can hit the enroll button here. We can select whichever campaign that as we want and enroll our prospect into that campaign.
Speaker 1 It's as simple as that. I think the difference we've between this 1 and pipe drive with pipe drive, you can enroll multiple people at the same time. But at the moment, I think here we can only do that individual. Maybe we can. Not Yeah I mean, you can enroll them in a workflow.
Speaker 1 If you if your campaign is in a workflow, then you would be able to do that. But... Yeah. Okay. I think that's a a hud premium feature.
Speaker 0 Okay. And Bra has asked what happens exactly when you qualify? In or qualify out a prospect.
Speaker 1 Okay. If you qualify in or qualify out the prospect. In the funnel flow, that moves them into the qualified inn. So we got the qualified list here. In this case, I've got my 1 prospect who's qualified, or qualified out goes there.
Speaker 1 And what that means is effectively your... You're you're ring fencing them so that they won't receive any further follow ups related to this campaign. So, you know, qualified, prospect. You're effectively labeling them was qualified so you can find them here. They get...
Speaker 1 They come out of the the the other fields here. They can become qualified. They're qualified out. It removes them and they work again also, it puts a label against them to stop them from receiving any further messages relating to that campaign. You can still and enroll them to another campaign, of course.
Speaker 1 But then, yeah, maybe you also want to maybe use the blacklist listing function order to make sure you don't do that depending on the type of prospect. But the the the net effect of of qualifying in and qualifying out is effectively moving them from 1 silo to another here. You can also, if you make a a mistake, you can you can recover them if you like. So you can change them from qualified how to qualified id. Or you can even hit ref flow.
Speaker 1 Ref flow is releasing, further campaign messages to go to individuals.
Speaker 0 Okay. Thank you. D, I think that might be how it's pronounce. How long does it take for Dux-Soup to notice that there's a new accepted connection request and update the info on Hubspot.
Speaker 1 How long a piece are string? Various things happen in the background? But basically, what happens is Docs who periodically checks, and and we're getting here into some of the sort of more the more technical side of things. Doug who periodically check for responses. So messages coming into your regular mailbox into your sales navigator mailbox.
Speaker 1 And also your your new connections. For those people who want the technical details, what you can do is you can go into your into your do options here, make sure you've got the the expert settings enabled here. And then under the connect label here, what you'll see here, this is the frequency here. So mine's currently sent to checker check every 60 minutes. Now Think the default is every 20 minutes.
Speaker 1 So what happens is therefore, Dux-Soup will check your regular mailbox, maybe on the hour 20 minutes pass, it'll do sales navigator at 7 now. Yeah. Sales navigator. At 22 will do the new connections. And they'll keep cycling around as long as your computer's on, as long as Chrome is open and as long as, the planner is active, then Duck soup will check those things to make sure everything's getting queued up correctly.
Speaker 1 So if Docs, then for example, identifies a new connection, it will then, at that moment, queue up that auto visit to put that prospect into your Crm. If you've got the settings set up the same as same as I have here. There we go this 1 here, update from normally connected profiles there we go. And updating after they've connected. So if I had a new prospect, a new a new first degree contact now, sometime in the next 20 to 40 minutes, Duck Too would identify that, would queue up that that activity to auto visit.
Speaker 1 And then depending on what else is on my in my queue to be executed, it will then happen... Again, as long as the computer remains on, as long as Chrome remains open.
Speaker 0 Okay. Thank you. Pierre has asked, is it possible to merge already existing contacts in Hubspot from Dux-Soup?
Speaker 1 Yeah. You'd need to do that. They would need to be a manual activity to sort of merge your data. 1 of the things is that we we're very, very conscious that there's a risk associated with writing your existing data. There's no way to verify that outside of, you know, using the the information we're getting from Linkedin.
Speaker 1 So you will find some duplicates when you run this, first of all, if you have a lot of data in your Crm. Once it's merged and you've got that linkedin Id, and the the linkedin Url etcetera, etcetera. Then Duck suit will then course make sure match up any further data that comes through accordingly. But, yeah, there will need to be sort of data alignment exercise when you first install.
Speaker 0 Okay. Just 1 second. I've I'm really sorry. I've I just replied to someone and said that your question will be asked next. And then I didn't catch your name, so I've lost it.
Speaker 0 Can you please put it in again and just say it was mine and then just re ask the question. I'm really sorry. Q has said. Do you mind res sharing the part of the integration where you captured the information of the contacts? What type of information do you capture from Linkedin 10?
Speaker 1 Okay. So the information that gets captured from Linkedin, Go back to our our usual profile here. So here we go. Let's take this profile again. So the information that we...
Speaker 1 That the Dux-Soup suit captures from Linkedin includes whether they're a first third degree connection. We get the Linkedin idea. It's a unique identifier for the record in linkedin. Get Linkedin industry, get the profile. We get email address visible.
Speaker 1 We also gather Docs suit tags and Dux-Soup notes if you're waking use of that functionality within Duck suit. We We also gather telephone number. If it's available, There are other bits and pieces. We get first name, We get phone number we get last name. Could we could also go here and look at all properties, for example, and have a look here and everything that's in there.
Speaker 1 We can see here, it's come from the Dux-Soup integration. That's 1 of the things. And then we also then get the the conversation information as well. So no. There's nothing there.
Speaker 1 So that's obviously coming in through the... This contact information on system account. Of that. Oh, there we go. So here we go.
Speaker 1 We can actually see when it when they when they became a contact. We can see the company they work for. The career... They they created. There's all sorts of other bits and pieces is in here.
Speaker 1 And, yeah. You can see if you go into here, you can have a look at the list of all the data that comes across is Some of it's populated automatically, so the the the ones with the green tick there, you can see there. Now as I said earlier, there are some people who require further data. And you can always do that. You know, you can also build additional things using make or Was zapier, for example, If you're gonna do that, make sure you use the linkedin Id is your reference number because that is that would then be aligning with everything that we've already built in this integration.
Speaker 1 K. Did you get the name of the last person?
Speaker 0 No. They haven't come back to me yet. I no they have? Thank you. It's Alan.
Speaker 0 How do you prevent Hubspot from exceeding daily limits for visits set by Linkedin? Thanks, Alan.
Speaker 1 So you have complete control over how many actions Dux-Soup will carry out for you per day per week or whatever. This is a really good 1, actually. Again, we're gonna go into our Dux-Soup options. And again, what we need to do is make sure we've got the... Expert settings enabled here under the user tab.
Speaker 1 By default, you have the regular settings and make sure you've enabled the expert settings because then under the t settings here, we can then define how much activity Dux-Soup will carry out for you on your behalf. And this is where you control all that information. We've done webinars about this. We've got blog posts about this. We've got a a whole load of information around what safe limits are here.
Speaker 1 And the best way for me to explain that and the best resource that you can go to is you can go to our blog posts here. And I'm gonna share this in a second. Don't worry, Joe. We go to this blog post here. This 1 here is a culmination of...
Speaker 1 Come on. It is gonna work. A second because there we go. This article here explains everything we know about daily limits and keeping your linkedin account safe. So have a read of this?
Speaker 1 This is based upon nearly 10 years of Dux-Soup running... Automation. I put the link to this in the chat box. It's 1 of my most shared web blog post links in all of the calls I do. It's the 1 topic that comes up again.
Speaker 1 And again, this is where you go to read what your daily should be. Just as a guide though, just think about every time Dux-Soup is visiting a profile. If you've got a big network and you've got sales navigator account, you can visit hundreds of profiles. Linkedin and expect that, You got a paid account. The throttle comes with connection requests and maybe direct messages.
Speaker 1 Depending on the type of account you've got depending on how much you're spending with Linkedin. If for example, you're running a free linkedin account, you probably wouldn't wanna be visiting more than a hundred profiles a day. Depending on how big your network isn't and how much you do. Whereas if you got sales navigator, you can probably visit, yeah, You can safely visit 500 profiles a day. Remember for a lot of these activities, especially when you're just populating your information in Crm, your only auto visiting profiles.
Speaker 1 Probably Connection requests, direct messages. That's a different a different matter. Check out the blog post. I've just shared on the on the chat box there, and that will help guide you.
Speaker 0 Fabulous. Thank you. A quick question, You're using a free Hubspot account aren't you? Correct. Well.
Speaker 0 So can you utilize the Hubspot? So suit integration features with a free Hubspot account.
Speaker 1 Absolutely.
Speaker 0 Alan. So yes, she can, because jazz has been doing it.
Speaker 1 I go to... For example, my hotspot account and see here if I go to upgrade. Yep. I'm currently using... The free version.
Speaker 1 So yes, I'm I'm on free hub spot and it works perfectly well.
Speaker 0 Q has asked, does the process of capturing information also work on the second or third degree connection contacts?
Speaker 1 Absolutely. You just will get less information. Yeah, Just go into your your ducks dash. You say yeah, I want to visits. I want to update contacts from all profiles I visit.
Speaker 1 You'll just see less contact details. It's like when you're visiting profiles in Linkedin, you know, you see more email addresses of first degree contacts. You see more... Telephone numbers are first degree contacts. You it depends on what people have set their privacy settings as to how much data you'd see.
Speaker 1 But, yeah, you can... You're talk to you. You have complete control over what data mix into your Crm.
Speaker 0 Awesome. And Bra has said I've been using Duck suit for a few months without Hubspot. When I set up my Hubspot integration, will my prospects already be there?
Speaker 1 No. Now, you might be able to import your data if you want to, but that again is possibly a rabbit hole that we maybe don't have time for now, but please email it. Or email support. Because basically, When Du is visiting profiles for you. It's usually caching that data in your browser, You could then for that Csv file, import that bunch of data into your Crm if you wanted to.
Speaker 1 Making sure that you're aligning all of the all of the data fields are appropriately. You could do it then a bulk upload of data into your Crm if you wanted to Yeah. Depends on on your requirements. So depends fact, that information has been cashed to your browser.
Speaker 0 K. John has asked can you send only qualified leads through from the funnel?
Speaker 1 I referred to the answer that I gave it to clear earlier about maybe doing a super user blog on that. Yeah. System tags, tax profiles. It is possible, but, yeah, it we would need some setting up.
Speaker 0 Okay. Right then. So ig ig. I'm sorry. It's terrible pronunciation.
Speaker 0 Won't Have hubspot require double opt in from those contacts to enroll them or send them the campaign. So I think the question is, do they have to opt in to receiving things if you're sending them from Hub hubspot?
Speaker 1 Know you can... You're you're only queuing up actions to be up to... To be performed in Linkedin.
Speaker 0 K. Alright.
Speaker 1 And you send a make your request to to people in Linkedin without any issues. It's up to you what you do with with the the information that you have. But you're sending effectively yeah, either direct messages to existing first degree prospects or a connection request to non connected profiles. So
Speaker 0 the. Can you. Can you copy all first level connections into Hubspot, including linkedin Id and profile Url?
Speaker 1 Yeah. Just need to also visit them. Like I did in the demo, selecting list of prospects to to define them via, yeah, via your search. Criteria in Linkedin or sales navigator and get Dog suits water, visit them making sure that you've got this set up correctly here your your integration here, which which have a profiles you wanna get in there, course Auto visit them all and as the auto visits, then we put them into your Crm.
Speaker 0 K. Fabulous. Here's a good 1, I think. If I'm using Hubspot, can I initiate a Dux-Soup campaign from a different computer or browser? Or do I need to use the same chrome on the same computer where Dux-Soup is installed.
Speaker 0 That's from Brad.
Speaker 1 As long as you've installed Dux-Soup, the... As long as you've installed the Dux-Soup connector to your Hubspot account. You can use your hotspot account anywhere to trigger those activities. You can log on to it with a different computer on a different browser because effectively, the Api is just linking the accounts. Your your connection request, everything will still go from your Chrome browser where your Doc soup installation and linkedin counted locked onto.
Speaker 1 K.
Speaker 0 Counted When I received the recording, yes, you will, it could be sent a little bit later on today.
Speaker 1 And if I got those to everybody who's registered not just attended.
Speaker 0 And it will also appear on the website. Sorry arrived may. Is there a replay? Yes, we just answered that 1. Do you know the cost for a package to place calls in Hubspot?
Speaker 0 No. It's not a clear. Sorry, On.
Speaker 1 Please contact top spot for the the things information. I'm sure they're got information on their website.
Speaker 0 Can you add Dux-Soup to sequences that asks Megan?
Speaker 1 Yeah. That's a question that needs to go to support. Yeah.
Speaker 0 That's a support 1 Megan? The the support links in the chat function. So take a look in there.
Speaker 1 And the email address is on the screen now.
Speaker 0 So we always get asked this. So Tom's asked about Sharp, spring that we're gonna do a webinar with Sharp, spring.
Speaker 1 It's something that we need to look into, Yes. It it is 1 that is... Of the 3 integrations we've done, Pipe drive Hubspot and start Sharp spring Sharp spring is the... That the lesser used 1. So...
Speaker 1 Yeah, but it's it's something that we probably need to review at some point.
Speaker 0 What would be the best... Process you'd recommend to the sales team to follow up on Linkedin leads in Hubspot.
Speaker 1 That depends upon your business. Depends upon your process. Isn't you know... Yeah. I mean, it depends on how you're finding your prospects as that that that that's a real kind of worms that 1 because it depends very much upon your type of business It depends upon your...
Speaker 1 Strategy depends upon the target audience. My my personal view is that, you know, if you've got prospects who you are strategy you need to keep in regular contact with your prospects. You need to engage with them. You need to share information with them and you need to try and initiate conversations with them. But not, you know, sending the message in multiple messages a week because that that that you get flagged as being, you know, spamming them or whatever.
Speaker 1 And they'll they'll easily ignore you. Try and share genuine information. Actually, this this this kind of links in nicely to the webinar that's coming up in 2 weeks time with Tyrone. And I think this probably leading quite nicely to that. Because Tyrone Tyrone who's gonna be presenting for the last week in 2 weeks time.
Speaker 1 We'll talk about the the wholesale track and how you can make sure you're engaging properly with your prospects and taking them to the next level taking them on that journey of of through your funnel to to where you want them to be.
Speaker 0 Strategy And just to add to that, as you can imagine, I've already been through the content with Ti and it's it's pretty awesome. As as ever. He's got some actionable takeaways that he's gonna be talking us through which will really help with your Linkedin outreach and there's some really good hacks in there. So I... Yeah.
Speaker 0 I strongly suggest you you join us on that 1.
Speaker 1 Well, at least written then you get it anyway.
Speaker 0 Yeah. Exactly. Right. We still got questions. Have you still got time gil.
Speaker 1 Yeah. A couple more minutes.
Speaker 0 Yeah. We'll have a couple more. Let's have someone we haven't heard from yet. There's a few in there. Few names keep popping back up.
Speaker 0 I'm trying to find some that very Hub hubspot specific now. A This is a really good 1 from Tony. Where the thinking capture when employees me a company? And also would this create a new company on Hubspot?
Speaker 1 It would think the the latest company information. So for example, if... If you had a hubspot record, which was which you which would get captured via Dux-Soup from Linkedin where they come works to company 8. And then they worked for then then in some months, they they moved to company b. If you then auto visited them or visited them incidentally at some point, Jury after that time, it would only update the information once they've once they've changed.
Speaker 1 And once you've visited them and then it would update the company information accordingly. Because it would match up the linkedin Id would use that linkedin Id as the record, and then it would match that up accordingly and update their company. To reflect their latest information.
Speaker 0 K. And I think looking at it. I think they're the... They're the hubs hubspot related ones. Some of the others that have come through are less hubspot related and more du.
Speaker 1 Well, if you've got questions that haven't been answered. Please do contact support, info at Dux-Soup hyphen soup dot com. Our support team are there hopefully ready and waiting for your for your messages for all the... Questions I've not been able to answer today. I'm just gonna very quickly say, yeah, if you are.
Speaker 1 Start core if you need assistance or Want training and using Dux-Soup or any of these these things. If you're starting with Dux-Soup, you can book a booster call or if you could if you're if you're more advanced and you're using Zapier or make or something else, and we can book a technical session, and we can help guide you along that journey. Of of sort of familiar yourself with Ducks and making sure you get the most out of the tool. And other than that, I think we're probably ought to give the the floor of Joe to present what's happening in 2 weeks time.
Speaker 0 Yeah. So 2 weeks time, On September the faithful be joined by Tyrone Giuliani. Found of selling maid social and lead generation master. Speaker 0 You will be talking to your add further content to that book.
Speaker 1 Yeah. Absolutely. Well, we just updated the blog post again during July. With the latest and greatest information. So, yeah, we'll be talking about that.

And if you put today's date on it, then we'll get in touch and you get to choose. We don't even just send you, you know, whichever comes out of the bag. We send you the color you want, So then...
