Doctor Alan Mandel This exercise was originally given to him from his doctor For his back pain, the secret behind this technique lies in the breath. Oxygen is the only thing that's gonna burn fat. So as you inhale, the oxygen you breathe in attaches to your fat cells and splits them into carbon and water, which you then exhale as carbon dioxide. So the more oxygen you inhale, the more fat you burn. Also, by doing this technique, you're going to strengthen muscles as well as Boost your metabolism.
Doctor Alan Mandel So let's show you how simple this technique is. Put both feet together And take either foot and put it backwards about 6 inches behind your other leg. I'll use my right foot. Now what I'd like you to do is take your weight and lean back on that back leg, which is my right, And I want you to squeeze your buttocks as you lean back. Now what you're gonna do is you're gonna inhale for 3 seconds In your nose, as I inhale 3 seconds, I'll lift my arms up as high as it can go, and then I will exhale for 7 seconds out of my mouth, and as I do so, I'm gonna tense up every muscle of my body.
Doctor Alan Mandel So here we go. 3 seconds, I will inhale through my nose as I lift my arms up to the sky. Exhale for 7 as you drop your arms and tense up all the muscles of your body. And that's all it is. So you're gonna do about 6 to 8 repetitions.
Doctor Alan Mandel Do your best as you exhale for 7 seconds. I know it's gonna be a little difficult at first. As you exhale, tense those muscles up that will increase metabolism, allow the brain to fire to those muscles, which will help you burn the fat. So do this exercise about 2 minutes a day. You will see within the 1st couple of weeks The weight starting to shed off your body.
