Ben Brian What you guys? Got a quick video here for you on how to fix no enhancement tab, showing inside Windows 10. So let's go down to our sound settings by right clicking on the sound icon, and go to sound. And inside the playback section, if you look for speakers inside here when you double click on this, this will open up another box which gives us the speakers properties. You can see there's no enhancement, tab here that it's been missing.
Ben Brian And I'm gonna share how to fix that in this video. Now all the drivers are up to date, and this is exactly what Windows installs on your system. You can see there's no enhancement tab here either. So let me go ahead and quickly share how to address this issue. It's very simple and easy to do.
Ben Brian Just go down to the start button here, right click, and go device manager, and open up the device manager window. Close all these off here, and just go to sound video and game controllers. Open this little tab up here, and you should see Realtek audio. What we need to do here is we're gonna right click on this, and we're gonna disable this device. Click yes, and that device has now been disabled.
Ben Brian What we need to now do inside here is right click on this same Realtek audio again, and go update driver. We wanna browse my computer for drivers, and then we want to go let me pick from available list. Inside here you'll see Realtek high definition audio. That is not the 1 you want. You want high definition audio device.
Ben Brian Click on this Sound click next. You might get this warning message here, but just say yes to this, and this will then start to install the drivers that you need. You can now see high definition audio device has been installed. Click close, and you should now see the Realtek audio has been re enabled, and installed, and updated. So let's close off the device manager, and go back down to the speaker icon, right click, and go to sounds.
Ben Brian Once we get the sounds box open, we're gonna go to playback, go down to where it says speakers, and we're gonna double click on this 1 here, and open up this box. You should see the speakers property box, and that enhancements tab has now been reinstalled and enabled on your Windows 10 device. Now you can see here we do have other options available which are base boost, virtual surround, room correction, and also loudness equalization is available in there. Some people like to, add a bit of bass boost on their headphones or speakers, and you can do that by enabling it here. And that's pretty much it.
Ben Brian That's basically how you can re enable the enhancements tab inside Windows 10 if it is missing on your version of Windows. If you've got any video request or fix it videos, then let me know in the comment section below, or drop on our Discord server, and you can post them over there.
