Figma make
Figma Make is an AI-powered, prompt-to-app environment that transforms static designs and text descriptions into functional, code-backed prototypes.
Launched at Config 2025, Figma Make bridges the gap between static UI and live software by generating real code (React, HTML, and CSS) from natural language prompts. The tool features a dual-pane interface: an AI chat for iterative prompting and a live preview for testing interactions like navigation, modal logic, and responsive layouts. Users can attach existing Figma components or paste frames directly into the chat to maintain brand consistency while the engine—powered by models like Claude 3.7 Sonnet—builds the underlying logic. Beyond internal testing, the platform allows teams to publish these functional prototypes to dedicated URLs, effectively turning design explorations into shareable web apps without manual handoff.
