Google Stitch for UI

Google Stitch is an AI-native design canvas that transforms text prompts, images, and URLs into high-fidelity UI prototypes and exportable frontend code.

Stitch streamlines the transition from concept to code by leveraging Gemini 2.5 Pro to generate structured UI components instead of static images. Users can describe a layout in natural language, upload a whiteboard sketch, or paste a URL to extract a design system (including typography, spacing, and color tokens) in under 60 seconds. The platform supports multi-screen prototyping with its 'Stitch' feature, allowing teams to link screens into interactive flows that can be exported as React, Tailwind, or HTML/CSS. With the March 2026 update, Stitch introduced an infinite canvas, voice-driven design iteration, and the DESIGN.md format, which acts as a portable source of truth for design systems across tools like Figma, Cursor, and Claude Code.
