Pynput Sounddevice

Python toolkit for mapping real-time keyboard and mouse events to low-latency audio playback.

This stack pairs the pynput library for HID event monitoring with sounddevice for PortAudio-powered signal processing. It allows developers to map keyboard interrupts to 32-bit float audio samples stored in NumPy arrays. The configuration is a standard for low-latency tools: soundboards and custom MIDI-style controllers (maintaining sub-20ms response times on modern hardware).
