A Python-based framework for automating configuration templates and workflows via XML, Jinja2, and YAML.

Skillet streamlines infrastructure as code by transforming static configurations into dynamic, reusable templates. Built primarily for PaloAlto Networks environments, it leverages the skilletlib library to push XML snippets and set commands through standardized YAML metadata. Operators use it to automate Day 1 deployments and Day 2 health checks across NGFWs and Panorama. By decoupling the logic from the code, Skillet allows teams to share best-practice patterns (called Skillets) that integrate directly into CI/CD pipelines or standalone python scripts.
